Travelling by Car

From the South
Leave the M6 at Junction 36. Follow signs to Barrow-in-Furness and Ulverston (A590). Before reaching Ulverston turn right onto the A5092 at Greenodd (Sign posted Western Lake District, Whitehaven and Workington). The A5092 merges with the A595 and continue on this road following signs for Whitehaven/Workington. A few miles north of Ravenglass you will come to the village of Gosforth. Turn right into the village. Follow signs for Nether Wasdale (approx 3.5 miles). Coming down the hill into Nether Wasdale you will pass between 2 pubs and than a small church on your left. The turning to Church Stile Holiday Park and Campsite is immediately beyond the Church.

From the North
Leave the M6 at Junction 40 and take the A66 towards Keswick and Cockermouth. At Cockermouth take the A5086 signposted Egremont. The A5086 joins the A595 and follow this south past Egremont. A few miles south of the village of Calderbridge you will come to the village of Gosforth and turn left into the village. Passing through the village follow signs to Nether Wasdale as above.

From the East
From Ambleside take the A593 towards Coniston and then head towards Eskdale over Wrynose Pass and Hardknott Pass. Beware it is a single track road with passing places but the scenery is stunning.
